Books Are Beautiful

Recently I bought three books. Well, I bought more than three books but most of those were e-book formats. The three books I’m referring to that I bought the real hardcover versions of are Will, Immune, and The Christmas Pig.

The covers of these books are just so wonderful and really made me pause to appreciate the fact that they are works of art. The cover for Will is so colourful and the jacket itself is textured, so you can run your hands over it. The cover for Immune is also so colourful and creative, just begging to be read. And the cover for The Christmas Pig is likewise colourful, festive, and so, so cute.

To the artists who designed these covers, my hats off to all of you for creating works of art that invite the reader in. I especially love the cover of Will.

That’s all I wanted to write in this post. Simply that books are beautiful and these three book jackets remind me of that fact every time I look at them.
