The Sci-Fi Novel Blog Moves To A New Home

Today I decided to move my science fiction blog, thescifinovel.com, over to this, my main, website. I’ve kept the domain name so that it now redirects to andreaelisabeth.com.

I made this move for a few reasons. The first being that it’s easier to deal with one website rather than two, and the second being that I hadn’t posted anything on The Sci-Fi Novel for almost a year now. In my journey to read through my list of 100 science fiction novels, I sometimes found it difficult to post regularly enough on the blog, and have already had to skip a few books on my list because I just couldn’t get my hands on them (digitally or otherwise), and then felt I had nothing to post in those cases.

Because I was putting pressure on myself to have a perfect sci-fi blog, I would get stuck in inaction easily and then end up not posting for months. I do enjoy blogging and am recommitting to it, and this way I think it will be easier for me to stick to a posting schedule of at least once a week because I can blog about other subjects too, mainly, life and writing and the writing life.

So I’m excited for this next step in my writing and blogging and sci-fi journey.
